Section 2 Role of the Platform

Ewan is an electronic commercial brokerage platform connecting factories and suppliers of building materials with contractors, design companies and real-estate developers. Ewan is not the seller of the products listed by suppliers and is not a party to the sale, supply, delivery, installation or warranty contracts concluded between suppliers and their clients, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Section 3 Suppliers Are Independent Businesses

  1. Each supplier on Ewan is an independent business, registered and licensed in the State of Qatar, that sells in its own name and under its own responsibility.
  2. The supplier's name is shown on its shop page and on each of its products. The contract for a purchase is concluded between the client and that supplier, and the supplier issues the invoice in its own name.
  3. Approval of a supplier on Ewan means only that it met the platform's registration requirements; it is not a certification of its products, services or financial standing.

Section 4 Suppliers' Legal Responsibilities

Each supplier is solely responsible for:

  • Holding a valid commercial registration and all licences, approvals and certificates required for its activity and products.
  • The accuracy and lawfulness of its shop information, listings, prices, images and offers, and holding the rights to the content and trademarks it uses.
  • The quality, safety and conformity of its products with the laws, regulations and standard specifications in force in the State of Qatar.
  • Delivery, returns, refunds and warranty towards its clients, in line with the Return & Refund Policy.
  • Its own commercial, tax and regulatory obligations, and the protection of client data it receives.

The full rules are in the Seller Terms and Conditions, the Seller Policy and the Supplier Agreement signed in the Seller Panel.

Section 5 Reporting Unlawful or Infringing Content

  1. If you believe a listing, image or shop on Ewan infringes your intellectual property rights, is unlawful, unsafe or misleading, send a notice to info@ewan.qa with:
    • your name and contact details, and your capacity (for example, owner of the right or its authorized representative);
    • a link to the content concerned and a description of the problem;
    • evidence of your rights (for example, trademark registration or copyright proof), where relevant;
    • a statement that the information in your notice is accurate.
  2. Ewan will review the notice and may hide or remove the content and inform the supplier concerned, who may respond with its own evidence. Ewan may reinstate content where the supplier shows it has the right to publish it.
  3. Ewan cooperates with the competent authorities and may provide information it holds where the law requires.

Section 6 Intellectual Property

The Ewan name, logo, design, software and databases belong to the platform's owner and may not be used without prior written consent. Trademarks, product names and images published by suppliers belong to their respective owners, who are responsible for their use on the platform.

Section 7 Limitation of Liability

Ewan exercises reasonable care in operating the platform but does not guarantee that it will be free from errors or interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, Ewan is not responsible for the products, information or conduct of suppliers or clients, as set out in the Terms & Conditions.

Section 8 Electronic Communications and Records

Agreements accepted and notices sent electronically on the platform (including the Supplier Agreement signed in the Seller Panel) are binding. Ewan keeps electronic records of registrations, orders, messages and agreements, which may be used as evidence where the law permits.

Section 9 Governing Law and Language

This Legal Notice and the use of the platform are governed by the laws in force in the State of Qatar, and the courts of the State of Qatar have jurisdiction over any dispute. This notice is published in Arabic and English; in case of any difference, the Arabic version prevails.
